Development Update 1/22/21

Greetings to all, and welcome back to the Blue Protocol Database. It’s been a little while since our last update, and this is a small one as well. However, any news is good news, so let’s get right in!

Their latest tweet introduces the shortcut ring into the game. This is a nice QoL (quality of life) feature allowing players to easily access and activate various items. Unlike other games, where this would just be a simple wheel of character gestures, they plan on allowing the assignment of items, stamps, and other useful shortcuts along with the normal character gestures. The editor UI looks very easy-to-use, and it seems as if we will be able to set and switch between various preset rings. Again, this isn’t big news, but it’s a sign that there’s still life in the game! Here’s the in-game screenshot to see for yourself.

And that does it for this short Development Update. As always, thank you all for reading and for your maintained interest in Blue Protocol!
