Development Update 18/12/20

Greetings and welcome back to the Blue Protocol Database! This will be a short article covering new information that the developers presented in their two recent tweets. We also get to show you the two new gameplay clips that were included with these tweets. Now, without any further ado, let’s jump right in.

Firstly, we have a new “Assault Attack” that will be used by close-range classes. It works by jumping into the air and then attacking, which will cause you to smash the ground and deal damage. From the footage provided, it seems that this attack will inflict area of effect damage instead of being limited to just a single target. It can also knock an enemy down by leaping from a high enough point and smashing the ground in front of them. The higher you jump from, the more damage you deal. It’s over, enemies. We have the high ground!
Now, take a look at this exciting new attack in the clip below.

The second tweet shows us the new “Evasion Attack.” This will allow you to attack an enemy directly after evading one of their blows. With the introduction of this attack, battles should feel more fluid with less static time stuck locked by an animation. The Blue Protocol team has provided the following clip which depicts this new attack in action.
